COVID-19 (CORONAVIRUS) UPDATE
Registration for Orientation has been postponed. We anticipate being able to open registration in the coming weeks. We are working on alternative plans and will announce those if the need arises.
Please visit the VCU COVID-19 website for official university updates related to COVID-19 (Coronavirus). You may also review a helpful list of Frequently Asked Questions related to this rapidly changing situation. We encourage you to also review resources related to remote learning and wellness found at Keep on Learning and Keep on Being Well.
Registering for Orientation
Before registering for Orientation, you must review the items on the Accepted Student Checklists and complete them in the order in which they are listed. Notice that there are several steps to complete before you may register online for your Orientation date. For a list of available Orientation dates, visit the page for first-year students or transfer students.
Family and guest registration information: Any family members wishing to attend orientation need to make sure they are registered ahead of time. Guests can be added to the student's account up to 1 week prior to the orientation, but we encourage you to register as soon as possible as spaces do fill up. Keep in mind that the Family Orientation program is mostly separate from the student program and there is an additional fee associated. For more information, see the Families and Guest page.
If you don’t see a date you’re able to attend, email us at email@example.com and we will work with you to identify a time that you are able to attend. If you recently paid your tuition deposit and the site won’t allow you to register, try again after 48 hours.
Successful registration is followed by a confirmation email to both the student and any registered guests (to the emails provided). Make sure you receive the confirmation before making travel plans.
